Michelle LeDonne (she/her) has been the Executive Director of the Pathy Family Foundation (PFF) since July 2023, where she previously served as Program Officer and was responsible for Montreal-based partner organizations and funder collaboratives.
Before joining PFF in 2019, Michelle worked for more than a decade in fundraising, strategy, and program development for a national non-profit and several community-based organizations working in the areas of homelessness relief and prevention, health equity, and youth and 2SLGBTQIA+ empowerment. Originally from Chicago, she holds a Master of Arts from McGill University and currently resides in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal with her son.
Carole
Muriithi

Carole Muriithi (she/her) is a Senior Program Manager at the Pathy Family Foundation (PFF) supporting our national and international partner organizations across Canada, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America, with a focus on gender equity, social justice, and rights-based, community-led development. Carole has 10 years of experience working in the non profit sector in various capacities including program development and management, consultation, facilitation, and research support. Her work in these roles focused on gender equity, education, children's social and emotional development, anti-racism, and organizational development. Carole has a Master's in Human Systems Intervention and is a systems nerd who loves to co-create and facilitate group processes that unlock insights and cultivate pathways forward. Carole has lived in six countries and four continents and currently calls Tiohtià:ke/Montréal home.
Janis Qavavauq-Bibeau

Janis Qavavauq-Bibeau has been the Program Manager at the Pathy Family Foundation (PFF) since 2024, where they lead grantmaking strategies rooted in equity, care, and trust-based relationships. With a strong commitment to Indigenous self-determination and systemic change, Janis works closely with community partners to support bold, transformative initiatives.
A proud Inuk and Two-Spirit person from Montreal, Janis brings years of experience in advocacy, research, and grassroots organizing, particularly in the areas of gender-based violence, justice, and community healing.
Currently completing a Bachelor of Social Work, Janis is guided by both lived experience and a deep belief in the power of community-led solutions. Their work is grounded in empathy, accountability, and a desire to reimagine philanthropy as a tool for liberation.
Beth Symansky

Beth (she/her) is the Senior Operations Manager at the Pathy Family Foundation (PFF), where she oversees organizational operations and manages a portfolio of national partner organizations.
Before joining PFF in 2023, Beth worked in the non-profit sector for nearly two decades in roles including fundraising, communications, project development and management, and administration. She served as Executive Director of a community center, giving her extensive experience with the operational challenges facing community-based organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and continues to live in her hometown of Tiohtià:ke/Montréal.

Salma Tihani (she/her/elle) has been a Program Manager of the Pathy Family Foundation (PFF) since October 2024. In this role she is responsible for Montreal-based partner organizations and funder collaboratives.
Before joining PFF in 2024, Salma worked for a decade in program development, design and research in national non-profits, universities, city and federal institutions and several community-based organizations working in the areas of climate & social justice, youth inclusion especially BIPOC, migrant and other historically marginalized groups and education. She is a painter who used her Amazigh ancestry and art in engaging with her work with other community groups. Originally from Ottawa, she holds a Master of Arts in Education & Society from McGill University and currently resides in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal.
